I believe that you should not hold back your emotions

My father and i have a very strange relationship. when i was little i always wanted to be daddy's little girl so i wouldnt wear dresses or play with dolls because that's not want daddy's girls do. i would rather wear jeans and a tee-shirt and play in the mud. my favorit thing to do when i was little was go to the co op with my dad and older brother; it is here were i would see my father lift a feed sack with one are like it was full of feathers. i still remember riding on the tractor with him when he was working on the field behind our farm. i learned so much from this man

My brother is six years older then i, so he always spent more time with dad and i always got left behind because i was a girl and they were to do man work! there was never a time then i felt that i was not loved by my father, he just had a differnt was of showing it, then i would have liked.

when my father was little he was taught kids are to be seen but not heard. they are not to be hugged or shown any remorse of they will grow up to be soft, and this is not a world for a soft person. so, because of his beliefs my father does not hug, kiss, of tell us he loves us he feekld we shoukd know that because of what he has done for us.

I am the complete opposite i tell everyone that i am clase to, that i love them. i personaly believe they should know that everyday, in the horrible chance that i may never be able to tell them again! i hug everyone good bye and always tell them to have a good day.

i guess you could say my father's lack of emotion made me want to show it even more. My father is a great man and there is not many out there like him, and i know he loves me very much. i would have loved a hug every once in a while. so, for that, i belive in showing love and emotion to everyone close before it's too late.

Thanksgiving

i love thanksgive for all the turkey and pie! Not to forget the great family time we have together eating to much food and watching the football game. this year we had thanksgiving at my brothers and his new wife, it was kind of nice having the two families together! at 10:00 the power went out at are farm where they live, so in the middle of cookign the turkey we had no power! it took about 3 hours to get the power back on thank god the oven stayed warm enough so the turkey didtn get to cold and heated up very quickly. All in all we finaly at about 2:30. i had to eat fast and get out to my boyfriends by 3:30 to eat all over again. at there thanksgivign they have alot of family and so much food! one thing that is very differnt from ours is they pray and we all have to say what we are thankful for! and with 30 people at there house it takes for ever! after we eat we all lay around and watch the next football game that is on that day! it to hard to move let alone stay awake so i take a nap for a while! by the time i wake up it time to play games and i feel hungry again, its funny how that works. we played a new game this year it was like pictunary but with a guy you draw on now. it was so very hard, my first thing i have to draw was winny the poo! how the heck do you draw that in 2 min. thanksgivign is by far the pest hoiday out there!

Black Friday

Black friday is such a waste of time i think they sit there and make you get up at 3 in the moring to make sure you are one of the first ones there. they say they have great deals but then the week after BLACK FRIDAY the prices are just as low if not lower. Black Friday is the friday close to the day of thanksgiving in the United States, which is the beginning of the traditional chrismas shopping season. The term dates back to at least 1966, although its usage was primarily on the East coast. The term has become more common in other parts of the country since 2000. Because Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday in November in the United States, Black Friday occurs between the 23rd and the 29th of November.
Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many employees have the day off, which increases the number of potential shoppers. Many retailers open extremely early, with most of the retailers typically opening at 5AM or even earlier. Some of the larger retailers such as Sears, Best Buy, Macy's, Toys "R" Us, and Walmart have been reported to open as early as midnight on the start of Black Friday in localized areas and remain open for 24 hours throughout the day until midnight the following Saturday. Upon opening, retailers offer doorbuster deals and loss leaders to draw people to their stores. In the late 19th century and early 20th century, many Santa parades or Thanksgiving Day parades were sponsored by department stores. Department stores would use the parades to launch a big advertising push. Eventually it just became an unwritten rule that no store would try doing Christmas advertising before the parade was over. Therefore, the day after Thanksgiving became the day when the shopping season officially started.
Later on, the fact that this marked the official start of the shopping season led to controversy. In 1939, retail shops would have liked to have a longer shopping season, but no store wanted to break with tradition and be the one to start advertising before Thanksgiving. President Franklin D. Roosevelt moved the date for Thanksgiving one week earlier, leading to much anger by the public who wound up having to change holiday plans. Some even refused the change, resulting in the U.S. citizens celebrating Thanksgiving on two separate days. Some started referring to the change as Franksgiving.

Twilight

With twilight i didnt know how it would be the first time i watched. there was a lot of hip about the movie but i didnt know what to think. so i watched the movie and loved it. i thought it was cool how it always keeped you atention and wanting more of the movie. twiligth you have the good vampires and the so called bad ones, but you start to like all of them! the parts of the first one i liked the best was when they played ball in the rain and thounder storm so it didnt make so much nosie when they hit the ball! Also how edward was so shy and you always wondered if he is good or bad! and i mean poor bella so is caught in the middle of loving edward and knowing he could kill her at any point in time. know a little about the stars

Edward-London-born Robert Pattinson found his acting niche almost instantly, kicking off his career with a string of fantasy roles. After catching the acting bug through amateur theater, the young thespian made his first film appearance at the age of 18, appearing in 2004's Dark Kindom , based on a Nordic legend. He followed this up by joining the Harry Potter franchise the following year, playing Cedric Diggory in Goblet of Fire, as well as the subsequent movies. Having captured the hearts of many young fantasy fans, Pattison then signed on to play the dreamy vampire heartthrob Edward in the film adaptation of the young-adult novel Twilight

Bella-Following a supporting performance as the daughter of a couple who unknowingly move into a seemingly haunted house in the 2003 chiller Cold Creek Manor, Stewart took top billing in the emotionally charged drama Speak in 2004. Cast as a traumatized high school freshman whose status as a selective mute draws the concern of friends and family, Stewart's handling of the remarkably intimate material drew praise from critics and Sundance audiences. A subsequent role in Catch That Kid (a remake of the Danish blockbuster Klatretosen) found Stewart in super-spy mode as a scheming twelve-year-old who recruits a pair of friends to rob a high tech bank in hopes of paying for a life saving operation for her dying father.

jacob-Michigan native Taylor Lautner had a knack for martial arts from the time he was a young child, winning karate tournaments in the Grand Rapids area while he was still in grade school. By eight, he'd developed enough skill to attract the attention of champion who became Lautner's coach. The young athlete eventually won three gold medals in the World Karate Association, but he soon found his interests expanding. Connections in the karate world led to an audition for a role in a TV commercial in Los Angeles, and even though Lautner didn't get the part, he enjoyed the process so much that his family soon began flying him out to the coast regularly for auditions, eventually relocating to L.A. completely. In California, Lautner continued to do well at martial arts competitions, but additionally found success in acting, appearing on shows like my wife and kids.

what to do for my big 21st

I have no idea what to do for my 21st birthday! It is a very big birthday as we all now but im not a huge drinker but do love to party and have fun with my friends. When my brother turned 21 my parents threw a party for him at are farm and it was so much fun! there was tons of food and people along with great music. His birthday is in the summer which made it easy to have it at the farm! my is in the middle of december when its cold and windy and snowy! who in there right mind wants to be in a shed it the middle of winter for a party. which leads me to have it at a bar or somehting like that but there are alot of my friend that are not 21 yet so they will not be able to get in to the bar and what fun is it to have a party with out your friends there with you. With havign it at the bar thou there is HEAT and food and music will be provided guess they have a house band, i have heard they are good but have never heard them myself. there is one other place a could have it. the old leon school where i went to elemetry school is now a cummunity center! you have to bring the food and the music in but anyone can be invited there! the olny bad thing about this place is that there used to be a businsess in there that helped disabled people and they messed on the floors:( so there is stains on the carpet and it smells kinda bad. So people kinda complan about that guess the whole place is carpet! And with us having food and drinks and possibly little kids they can also make messes on the floor. so im h=just more confused now then i was before! WHERE TO HAVE A STINKIN PARTY

my dog sadie

My dog Sadie is a mixed mutt, she is border Callie, Australian Shepperd. We got her free from a girl my mom works with, she was so little and cute. Sadie was not the first puppy we brought home though there was a little male puppy we got first. He was all white but we found out soon he couldn't hear so he would not make it as a farm dog! so we had to take him back which was very hard cuz we were already attached to jack. it all turned out good int he end cuz Sadie is such a great dog, she gives lots of kisses and is very protective of my brother and i.

Sadie has some bad habits though, she loves shoes and there laces. she will chew right down the middle of them so there is no way you can some how fix them. Then she will also chew the back of your shoes clean off so you can keep them on. We also have 2 kittens in are shop and she is there mom per say, she cleans them and make sure they don't get in to trouble. Charlie the one kitten is her favorite she will lick him from head to toe till he is dripping wet. she doesn't mean to hurt him she just loves him!

Sadie is the smartest dog i have ever seen, she is the type of dig that when you talk to her she turns her head to the side like to say what you talking about. She loves to chace mice at the farm and she is a great watch dog. When people come to the farm and hear her bark be for the see her they think we have a great Dane of something, but then little knee high Sadie comes running out it gets them every time. She loves to go for car rides also, she has to sit on the front seat with the window down so she can stick her head out. You cant go to fast thou cuz then she starts to sneeze and blow snot ever where. i would not trade her for the world.

baby shower

So my family and i went to Milwaukee for my cousin in law's baby shower. We left Sparta at 9 in the morning Saturday and was off for the 3 hour drive! My sister in law was driving so the time went by fast. I had to bring my blanket and pillow with so i could get some ZZZ on the way down there. when we got to lake mills it started to snow not much but just enough to say why is it snowing in October?? other then that the weather was good just cold. so we got to my aunt and uncles at about 11:45 and we didn't need to be at the shower till 12:45 so we unpacked all are things sat and talk at little bit and then it was off to the shower. it was so nice seeing everyone again, it had been a little over a year in a half since we say everyone, so there was a lot of talking and hugs going around.

There was a lot of great food and drink there before the shower, but after all the 50 people showed up they went pretty quit! Yes i did was 50 people to a baby shower i know its crazy right, but Katie(the baby momma lol) has a huge family and there was some of her friends from work there also. so finally the show is on the road she got allot of cool gifts for her baby boy! Her colors for the babies room was blue and brown so she got allot of the gift to match those colors. This baby is going to be a walking chick magnet with his cute little clothes and brewers hat and packers jerseys! i wish i was this decked out when i was a baby!

After the shower my sister in law and i went to visit my cousin's new apartment on the south side of Milwaukee. It is an amazing 1 bedroom flat with a huge living room and dinning room. There are 3 college age girls that live above her that get a little load sometimes but other then that the place is amazing. She also had off street parking and a rap around porch that is amazing to sit out on and take in the cool air.

There is a great little pizza place called zaffero's. there pizza's only come in two sizes BIG and HUGE, but are they good. they also have salad's as big as you head there and they dressing is sweet but tanie at the same time. When we got to this place there were 10 of us trying to get a table, we got there at 8:30 and didn't sit down to eat till 10:30 i was so hungry i could eat a horse! All in all when it was all done is was a great weekend with my family.

Do you know where your food comes from?

How many of you really know where your food comes from? I mean more then just going to the grocery store and picking it off the shelf? i didn't think so, all you guys have to do is go to the grocery store and pick it off the shelf and its yours. What if you wake up one day and there is no food on those shelves or you have to stand in line for your food how would you like that, well appreciate the farmer that makes that more possible for you and that wont happen.

It was kinda of up setting the other day when a lady from class was complaining about how much her hamburger cost in the store and was blaming the farmer! I said hey back up here and think about what are saying and blaming, trying growing your own food then. everyone blames us when the price of food goes up in the grosery stores, but no one looks for the middle man. the middle man is make all the profit he steels the food from us and charges the consumer of th butt for it! I HATE IT!

with the beef you eat, we buy that animal at 500 pounds for $1.05 per pound feed it and care for that animal such as shots if it gets sick, dewormer, and other products to keep that animal health for your consumstion. Then we sell that animal at 1350 for about 80 cents per pound we dont even break even let alone make a profit. so what you as a people need to realise is that the "middle man" makes all the money, so you grosery stores, or you locker plants they make the money they rip you off ! not the farmer.

Family problems

I am getting married next july and am really excited about it. I love all the planning that goes it to have a wedding. My wedding location will be at the old leon school, as a community we have turned it into a play for gatorfest. Which includs a place for softball and kids to play on the swings and play basketball. There is also a big flot spot by the creek where the wedding will be held. In the back ground will be my farm so it is very special to me to have my wedding down there. the reception will be held at Club 16 in sparta, they have a lot of room and a really big dance floor.

So here comes the family problems they are mostly with garys family, i should say his DAD!!!! his dad was broght up that if you want something you have to get it and earn it yourself. Which is fine but none of the kids went to college cuz they couldnt afford it. So with knot that they never really tried in high school cuz they didnt care, they would just work in the family business. I know how it is working with you family ir has its good and its bads.

So his dad told us when we got engaged to have fun paying for this weddign ourselves. I was so pissed my family is goign to help why cant they, i mean they dont have to pay for the whole thing but my parents should have to either. I know what they thinkign why am i bitching cuz we could have to pay for this all by are selves. Im not really bitching just stresses me out how they wont help with everything. Every time they see my parents his dad is always like have fun helping the kids pay for the wedding, cuz they are not getting any money out of us. And yet they are gone every weekend, take trips all the time. i understand that its there money and they can do what they want with it, but gary helps them make that money also so stop being such hard ass's.

There is nothing we can really do about it now! i just hope that they keep there opinions to eachother. they didnt put any money to it they dont deserve to have a say it what goes on i feel anyways. just for once i wish things could go smooth and easy with out all the stress and tearfull nights

Showing cattle

I showed cattle since i was 12 years old! My First steer was from are neibors, when he was born his mom died. So i had to bottol feed him, then teach him to eat grain. Since i had him from two days old he would follow me around like a little puppy dog. he grew to weigh 1,300 pounds! THATS A BIG BOY!!! it was very hard to sell this steer at the end of fair! He was my baby and the buyer new that so he let me keep him even thou he bought him. I was so happy that i was able to take floppys home!! Showing cattle was a project my brother adn i did together. So we became every close do to this.

We bought are steers in the beggining of october at the weight of 500 pounds. the only reason why we bought are steers is because we dont have room for cows, so we cant show the calves they would have. We work this these steers from october till the end of july! that ment 3 a days washes in the summer time, Bring them in from out side at 5 in the moring then the weather was to hot. We would even bring them in when it started to rain, we didnt want them to get hurt by any means! it was always cute then they can into the barn they had there own little shop in the barn so they would go there right away and wait to be tied up! they would have 4 fans on them at all time, the barn was even had A.C! My mom always got up set because are house didnt even have A.C!!

Showing cattle takes a lot of time and Still. I know if you have ever went to a county fair, all you see is use walking in to a ring and a judge picks the one he likes but there is alot of other things that go in to it behind the seens. I dont want to make you fall alsleep by me telling you every little thing we do to get them ready. but if you would care to know leave me a ? about it and i will tell you!

Are county fair is the monreo county fair in tomah. My brother and i have alot of great memories from the fair. like winning grand champion steer or reserve champion 6 out of the 8 years we showed! thats a great deal to win, and im very pround of my brother and my family for the help!

any ? please ask i know i was breif but if a went all in to it we would be here for a YEAR

My brother is a married man

So my brother got married this weekend! I have never been so happy and sad at the same time in my life. My brother and i have been very close are whole lives! Usually the older brother is the protective one, not this time i have always been very protective of my brother! I have lerned a lot from him, he has taught me the ways of the world! i don't think i would be the same person with out him!

Lindsey the woman he married is from the small town of Mable, Minnesota! it took us a long time to become as close as we are now. As i said before I'm very protective so no on was every good enough for him, and she was nothing like me! she is load and opinionated and kinda BLOND LOL! I know she loves him very much and would never do anything to hurt him! I'm still not sure but its not my place anymore to say anything! SO I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST!

Where do i start with how the day went! well since we live and all work on the farm we had to start chorse at five in the morning:( then we had to head down here to lax by 8:30 to get are hair and make up done at hair paradise! There were5 girls in the wedding party plus the two mothers and 3 other personal attendents! so it took a good long time for us to get all done! we were all back to my mom and dads place by noon to eat sonething then get in to are dresses! are dresses were strapless tee lengh dresses. there were a toap with a cream colored sash. in the gift bags lindsey bough for us were our julrey, which was pural earing and neckless, plus flip flops to were once the weddign was over! picturs started at 1:30 they had two photograghes so one was with the guys and one with the boys, which worked really well. For are pictures with lindsey we took them in a hay field out front of are house. we took some with the whole group and some with every bridemade with the bride! it was VERY COLD that day so we didnt mess around. the boys took there pictures on top of the hill behind the farm it was a great idea but not when the wind is blowing 100 miles in hour!!! Plus the farm puppy got out and she has to be right by me and my brothers side so when the girl got up there to take pictures her was sadie sitting right by ryan for every picture is was so cute! i hope they can cut her out of them.

We rode down to the wedding no tractors and wagens it was so neat thank god the wedding was only a little ways away from the farm!! it was so amazing to drive back around the tent and see all the people! it was PACKED standing room only. The wedding all in all only took about a half in hour
